Gardeners enthusiastically attended Tweed and District Horticultural Society’s Plant Sale on May 21 at Memorial Park.
Due to the pandemic, this was the first fund-raising plant sale sine 2019.
Tables and trailers were overflowing with hostas, lilies, irises, phlox, lupins, sedum and many other favourite perennials. A table was filled with vegetable seedlings and even some indoor plants were available.
Thanks to all those who purchased a new plant for their garden to make this another successful sale and to everyone who helped with the sale both at the park and “behind the scenes” preparing for the sale.
