Annual Plant Sale, May 16, 8 a.m., Tweed Memorial Park
Tweed Fair:
July 10-12.
Our club sponsors junior and adult entries. The Fair book can be found online at tweedfair.net. We encourage members to enter the exhibits. Here’s the list of categories you can enter:
Adult Entries
1. Mixed arrangement of flowers and greens in a steel camping mug.
2. Miniature arrangement not exceeding 4 inches in any direction, including the container.
3. Fairy garden planter with fairy accessories.
4. Arrangement of mixed greens and natural items like seeds pods and birch bark.
5. Homemade vine wreath decorated with flowers and natural items.
6. Collection of home grown flowers in a vase.
7. Decorative item made from repurposed glass, china, metal, etc.
8. Scarecrow: Maximum 3 feet tall.
9. 2 flowers made using paper.
10. Painted Barn Quilt design on wood. 24 x 24 inches.

Children’s Entries
Age 4-5-6
1. Button Art: Make a flower design on a paper plate using buttons.
2. Flower garden picture on 8×10 construction paper using pictures from magazines.
3. Necklace made using macaroni displayed on a paper plate.
4. Decorate a small paper plate with a floral design using seeds.
5. 2 types of pine cones on a plate.
Age 7-8-9
1. Old CD made into art for the garden.
2. Stone painted with a floral design. Maximum 4 inches.
3. Collection of 4 different types of pine cones and named with the type of tree on a plate.
4. Floral arrangement in a coffee mug.
5. Decorated clay flower pot.
Age 10-11-12
1. Recycled item made into something useful for the garden.
2. Arrangement of flowers in a recycled container.
3. Collection of items collected while on a walk in the woods. Display in an empty cardboard tray(ie from a 24 can pop)
4. Collection of 6 leaves named with the tree they are from mounted on Bristol board.
5. Handmade Mother’s Day Card.
